I am a wife to the most incredible man and a mother of two; a sweet rainbow baby and a piece of my heart I did not get the chance to meet. I was born and raised in South Africa, and currently live in the United States. I am a free spirit, a foodie, I love to travel, and I am passionate about the supernatural experience of birth. In 2019, I took a leap of faith and decided to quit my engineering job to pursue a career that would fulfil my deep desire to serve others and make a direct impact in their lives. I took interest in birth work when I realised just how many women felt like they had no say in their birthing experiences. They felt unheard, like "doctors know best" meant they could not ask questions; could not advocate for themselves or even make decisions regarding their own bodies. The fact that this happens more often than we realise, is really alarming. My journey of supporting expectant mothers and their families began. I want to help give women their voices back, to empower them to take control of their birth experiences.
